A book discussion group for members and friends of the LGBT community. Although the focus here is on reading and discussing books of specific interest to the community, we will read books from other genres, as well. We'll meet on the first Friday of every month to discuss our current selection and select a book for the following month. We'll also schedule occasional MeetUps at museums, concert venues, and restaurants. Whatever strikes our collective fancy.

Women of 40Plus is a social group for lesbians who are 40 years old or older. The group meets every Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Center in Long Beach, 2017 E. Fourth St., Long Beach, CA 90814. There are no dues for attending the meetings however a donation of $3 per person is requested to cover the cost of the room rental and support the group. The 'Sunday Brunch Bunch' is an informal, social group open to the gay community. We hold Champagne Potluck Brunches at private residences, typically drawing well over 100 folks at each event. There is no charge to attend---everyone must bring the Potluck dish of their choice and beverage. It's a great way to mix, mingle, dine, network, laugh, converse, meet new friends & sip on champagne all at once! People volunteer to host at their home or condo---join up to 'meet up'!
