Women of Forty Plus is a social group for lesbians who are 40 years old or older. The group meets every Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Center in Long Beach, 2017 E. Fourth St., Long Beach, CA 90814. There are no dues for attending the meetings however a donation of $3 per person is requested to cover the cost of the room rental and support the club. I am starting this group because I love to scrapbook and make cards while sitting and chatting with others. I haven't been able to find a scrapbooking group specifically for the LGBT community and their friends, so I'm creating my own. I have been scrapbooking for about 3 years now, and still have a ton of my daughter's childhood pictures to do. I just became a Stampin! Up demonstrator and now spend my cropping time making cards.
